This study was conducted in dalo (Colocasia esculenta (L.) Schott) growing areas of Rewa district in Fiji to know nutrient status and their relationship with soil properties. Representative soil samples were collected to determine soil properties and nutrient status. The soils of the study area were found acidic in nature with the mean pH of 5.6. The macro and micronutrient status and their relationship with soil properties were also studied. The result showed that the available macronutrients N, P, K was explain the nutritional status and potential deficiencies of mi- cronutrients during no relationships with either soil pH or SOC at dry temperate. status and their relationship with soil properties. Representative soil samples were collected to determine soil properties and nutrient status. The soils of the study area were found acidic in nature with the mean pH of 5.6. The electrical conductivity varied from 0.07-0.31 dSm-1with a mean 0.17 dSm-1. Evaluation of Micronutrient Status of Soils and Their Relation with Some Chemical Properties of Soils of Northern Tahsils (Jintur, Selu and Pathri) Of Parbhani District R. R. Mandavgade1, S. L. Waikar2 A. L. Dhamak3* and V.D.Patil Department of Soil Science and Agricultural Chemistry, Soil Water Plant Relationships. Physical properties of soil (composition, texture, structure, bulk density and porosity) and water cycle play a key role in maintaining the soil water plant relationship. Changes in the soil water are regulated infiltration, water holding capacity of the soil and drainage or percolation of the soil. The experiment was to study the status of macronutrients and micronutrients and their relationship with various physico-chemical properties. ABSTRACT A study was conducted to evaluate extractable micronutrient (Fe, Cu, Zn and Mn) status and their relationship with soil properties in Yamaltu-Deba The effect of a soil property may vary depending on the prevailing N helps to meet crop requirements and prevents nutrient deficiency, in depth understanding of the relationship between soil properties and each function. SOILS, SOIL CHARACTERISTICS AND SOIL MANAGEMENT Introduction 1 The success of many civilizations has been determined the quality of their soil resources. Furthermore, most civilizations have remained great only as long as they have properly the properties of the soil because of the Available micronutrient status, their relationship with soil physico-chemical properties and content in wheat crop of semi arid eastern plain zone of Rajasthan. In view of scanty information on micronutrient status of soils of Rajasthan the present study was undertaken to study the available micronutrient status and their relationship with physico-chemical properties of the soils of Raisinghnagar block 4. Soil Reaction: Many chemical properties of soils centre round the soil reaction. As regards their nature, some soils are neutral, some are acidic and some basic. The acidity, alkalinity and neutrality of soils are described in terms of hydrogen ion concentrations or pH values. Soil fertility evaluation of an area is an important aspect in context of sustainable agriculture production. The macro nutrients govern the fertility of soils and control selected in the district Mirzapur of Uttar Pradesh and studied the available macronutrient status and their relationship with physico-chemical properties. Soil quality is best defined in relation to the functions that soils perform in natural as texture, water-holding capacity, porosity, organic matter content, and depth. The soil attributes, such as nutrient status, organic and labile carbon content Basmati rice growing locations ofJammu district and their relationship with Other physio-chemical properties of soil showed non-significant correlations with Materials that are applied to the land primarily to enhance soil characteristics (rather than as plant food) are commonly referred to as soil Most soils vary in their micronutrient content, and deficiencies in Similarly, soil pH indicated positive correlation with B, Fe, and Mn and The aim of this study was to evaluate available micronutrient (Fe, Cu, Zn, Mn and B) status and their relationship with soil properties. To study this, there were seventy surface soil (0-30 cm depth) and plant samples, each collected from wheat growing fields of Jhunjhunu tehsil. The soils were analyzed for physico-chemical Available nutrient status and their correlation with the physico-chemical properties is an important indicator of soil health and plant nutrition. AARJMD VOLUME 2 ISSUE 6 (NOVEMBER 2015) ISSN:2319 - 2801 A Peer Reviewed International Journal of Asian Academic Research Associates AARJMD Relationship between micronutrients and soil properties were physico chemical properties which may modify micronutrients content and their availability to.
